Uncovering ancient secrets in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom often leads players to unexpected places across Hyrule. One such intriguing adventure is the quest to find the secret treasure hidden directly beneath the great fish statue at Zora's Domain. This guide breaks down how to unlock the quest, locate the hidden cavern, and claim your legendary reward.

How to Unlock the Quest in Zora's Domain

Before you can embark on this treasure hunt, you must first complete the main storyline quest titled "Sidon of the Zora". Once peace is restored to the region, return to the throne room and speak with Prince Sidon to receive the riddle describing a secret treasure.

The riddle hints at a passage concealed behind two waterfalls underneath the giant stone fish. Having the Zora Armor equipped beforehand makes navigating these aquatic obstacles significantly easier.

Finding the Hidden Cave Location

To reach the hidden entrance, head toward the long bridge that leads directly out of Zora's Domain. Drop down off the edge toward the water directly underneath the massive stone fish structure.

Behind the primary waterfall cascading from the domain, you will discover a hidden opening leading into the Cave Under Zora's Domain. Step through the entrance and glide across the chasm inside to reach the inner subterranean area.

Navigating the Inner Cavern and Waterfalls

Once inside the cavern, continue moving forward past the initial rocky pathways. You will encounter a second internal waterfall blocking your path to the main chamber.

Swim directly through this second waterfall to reveal a hidden inner sanctum filled with ancient ruins. Inside this chamber lies a chest containing your hard-earned prize.

Quest Rewards and Special Armor Benefits

Opening the chest inside the hidden chamber rewards Link with the prestigious Vah Ruta Divine Helm. This ancient headpiece increases your swimming speed and deepens your spiritual connection with the Zora companion.

In addition to boosting mobility, equipping the helm allows Sidon's avatar to wear a matching sage helm during combat. Claiming this piece of armor is essential for completionists wanting to collect iconic relics from Hyrule's past.
